Before night falls

Cuba has always been not only Cuba. It is also its difficult and tormented relationship with the outside world, with what is longed for and feared, expected and discussed. Everything else - another life, another possibility, another land - is part of Cuba and the Cubans as a sweet evil with often indistinct features. Thus, it happens that the perennial joy of its people is transformed into a garment that covers the blind desire for change and that Cuba, home of vitality, warmth, energy and uninterrupted dancing, suddenly reveals an excruciating melancholy.
It is difficult today to trace another dream in Cuba that is not to flee. An intimate dream, secretly cultivated, in front of which the noisy and joyful community is transformed into many solitary and silent individuals.

After starting out as a wedding photographer, his photographic passion shifts to current social and documentary issues.
To date, some of his projects have been published in trade magazines:
Second class, ShipBreacking yard, Compartment Esperanzas, Yo Soy Fidel, Return to Corviale, Kafka am Romer Standtrand.
He has obtained various awards including:
