A trip to Smithson's masterpiece offered an unexpected moment of reflection. Pun unintended. An absolute stillness of the Great Salt Lake coupled with the barely visible landscape in the horizon, pairs water and sky in a near perfect harmony. It is the sliver of a day moon, of all phenomena, to bring a reality this moment of surreal.
