Record of Presence: My People

Record of Presence is a documentation of the people in my life. The series keeps a record of the fleeting intimate moments of day to day activities; the moments that are often unseen. These images capture the laughter, chaos, and the peace of stillness as we coexist together. My people are important to me, and the memories made together are priceless. I wanted to capture these moments that live in my heart. Throughout this documentation, my camera lived by my side, experiencing these moments with me. Those shown in the picture are not posing but are just living life, fully present. The images allow the viewer to experience and feel the moment with them. As an insider, I captured their intimate, vulnerable side. I capture how I see them, my perspective, my love for them. I find myself admiring their joy and love for the moment. My people are people who live in the present.
