It is always fascinated to observe old olive trees. I love the infinite forms and patterns they can present. It i's estimated that the average lifespan of an olive tree is approximately 500 years. But the maximum can be much higher. There are trees worldwide that is proven scientifically to be more than 2000 years old. In Crete, Greece, one is believed to be more that 4000 years old.
