Downtown [Lyon]

This picture has been taken in downtown Lyon [France] in a very sunny August morning. The perspective lines and the light bouncing from one building to the other drawn my attention. The presence of the fountain pool in the middle of the square, with its shadows and lights on the water, gave to the whole image even more structure and power.

Former biologist and painter I am a passionate amateur photographer. Born in Italy, I now live in France. Everything I know about photography is self-educated. Internet research, inspiration from the works of other photographers and some kind advices from professional photographers helped me to progress. And, of course, a lot of work and patience trying things out. I have experimented photographing in all sorts of genres, from landscape to portraits and architecture. I am continuously trying to learn more about how to express myself through my work.
