Alchemy of Paper

In this series, I present assemblage works in which paper cuttings of scientific illustrations from Ernst Haeckel's natural world merge with materials and elements I have collected from my immediate surroundings. The act of assemblage allows me to deconstruct and reconstruct reality. In the reality I create, simple and overlooked materials gain new life and meaning. The creations function as objects that generate a dialogue between research, intuition, and human emotion, inviting the viewer to reexamine the connection between nature, culture, and imagination.
